The 50th Anniversary of the Original Dungeons & Dragons Approacheth

Today is 2023, January 1st. One year from now will be the 50th Anniversary of the Original Dungeons & Dragons.  So the question before us is this, will Wizards of the Coast celebrate this Anniversary? Or will they only push a new so-called "One D&D" which no one wants or needs?

Why are they pushing a "virtual" "D&D" which is simply IMO designed to drain $50 to $100 per week from the pockets of the gullible in virtual games that lack the scope and flexibility of face to face games and is part of the new digital paradigm that is being promoted to destroy table top gaming and to relegate the DM of homebrewed worlds to the garbage bin of history.

So far WotC has not made a single penny off this lifelong D&D fan and their current plans show that they don't want my money because they are not willing to support table top gaming in the real world.

WotC has about six months to stave off their impending bad publicity disaster. Will they honor the history of Dungeons & Dragons by celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Original Dungeons & Dragons? Or will they only chase money and dishonor all those who played the game during the TSR years.

The 50th Anniversary of the Original Dungeons & Dragons is a once in a lifetime opportunity to foster goodwill towards WotC, but it appears that they are hellbent on squandering this opportunity.

Only time will tell, we have a few months left before it is too late for WotC to avoid this impending corporate image disaster.
